Malepère

In the Montreal region near Carcassonne, the Malepère produces red and rosé wines on limestone hillsides that cover an area of over 500 hectares. Powerful Aude wines that seduce with their fruity, vanilla aroma and ruby colour.

Minervois

On the border between the Aude and the Hérault, between Carcassonne and Narbonne via the Canal du Midi, the Minervois is a land with a long winegrowing tradition from which many vintages are produced. This vineyard is ideal for combining oenology, hiking, discovering the local heritage and cycling along the canal.

Corbières

The wines of Corbières benefit from good sunshine and are exposed to the dry north wind, both of which shape their character. This vast territory produces a wide range of red and white wines, and its volume is the highest in the Languedoc. There are several themed routes to discover them, including the Route des Sites Cathares and the Route des Etangs.

Limoux

Famous throughout the world, Blanquette de Limoux can claim to be the world's first sparkling wine. It was invented by chance by a Benedictine monk from the Abbey of Saint-Hilaire at the beginning of the 16th century, who discovered that the wine he had bottled sparkled.

Corbières-Boutenac

Welcome to this small area of the Corbières which is home to some of the finest wines in the Aude, which is why it has its own appellation. This vineyard covers 10 communes between Thézan-des-Corbières and Lézignan-Corbières. Carignan is the king grape variety followed by Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre.

Fitou

This vineyard extends over 2,600 hectares between the Corbières massif and the Mediterranean. It produces excellent red wines with a fruity taste of grenache.

Cabardès

Close to the medieval city of Carcassonne and the Canal du Midi, on the southern slopes of the Black Mountain, the Cabardès has the particularity of being situated on the climatic border between the Atlantic and Mediterranean influences. This is why some of the best wines of the Aude region cohabit with several grape varieties such as Merlot, characterised by its red fruit flavour, Cabernet and its subtle liquorice aroma, Syrah and its spicy aroma, Grenache... From this unusual encounter is born a wine with a strong charisma in a territory that includes 18 communes benefiting from the Cabardès appellation
